Sr. Multimedia Designer & Developer

Skills Required

Interactive Multimedia Development, Flash Development, Action Script, XML, Flash Video, Web servers, All Adobe multimedia products, CS3, Must be fluent in web design and development and Video and 3D knowledge a plus. GUI design experience for web and software application is also a PLUS. Understanding of E-Learning a plus.

Sr. Technical Writer

RKC Info Tech has an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Writer in support for one of our telecom client.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with project managers and sr. executives.

Specifically, the Technical Writer will participate in and provide guidance for the development of documents and presentations for delivery order teams; develop templates for software development projects; coordinate review sessions; attend development meetings; perform in depth editing of draft documents and briefings; make the final check before products are delivered to the customer, guidance will include writing styles, naming conventions, references, and terminology to be used in documents and briefings; establish, coordinate, and implement review procedures for all documents and presentations/briefings that will be delivered under the guidelines of the project.

Additionally, the Technical Writer must have at least four years experience as a technical writer drafting, reviewing, editing documents and briefings, have an IT or engineering knowledge/background, and be highly skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular MS Word, Power Point, and Visio. The Technical Writer will also support the integration and testing process through execution of test procedures and documentation of findings.

In this position you will be responsible for working alongside Senior Engineers and System Architects to create documentation on best practices and implementation procedures.

They would like a template created to standardize all content.
You will create "due diligence" documentation, data flow diagrams and networking diagrams for clients.
You will also be responsible for scrubbing and organizing the team's current best practice documents library.
You will also assist in coordinating content that will be posted on technical community websites.

Requirements
Background and Experience Required (a): (including education, skills, work activities)

4 years of experience supporting IT projects.
4 years of Technical Writing Experience.

B.S. Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field.
Military background and experience.
